A heavy night with Jude

So me a Jude hit it hard last night.

Football was on, so we had quite a few bottles each.

Man that boy can drink, he was on it all night and early hours.

Hope he's feeling OK this morning.

Oh dear I think he may have a little bit of a hangover.

Well he's definitely got a 'Mini Me' happening in his dreams...

"One million bottles..."

What a busy Friday

It's great to be working through my paternity leave, today was no exception as I was able to spend maximum time with the kids and of course with baby Jude.

So what did I do;
  • Amy to school
  • Amy's musical
  • Off to I12 to do a few shopping things and to have lunch at Din Tai Fung (see food blog)
  • Off to Ministry of Education to get Oliver's acceptance letter for School of the Arts (SOTA)
  • Off to Immigration Check Point Authority to register our wee man, Jude, for his birth certificate
  • Off to Cold Storage to buy some things for dinner
  • Cooking and serving dinner with my beautiful daughter (see food blog)
  • Finally writing up the blogs of today accompanied by a cold cider - Nice!
What a day.

A start with some lovely Baby Jude shots this morning. Asleep in his Moses Basket - thanks Jo again. He loves it!

Hands Up!!!

"Look Dad I'm a sky-diver!"

"No I'm not Dad I'm the letter X!"

"Hammer time..."

I tell you who has taken to this baby in the family situation so so so well...
Here's a clue.

Ollie has been truly AMAZING with Jude - well done matey, love it!!!

Last photos for today on this blog are Amy's school musical - check http://www.islifearecipe.com for all the food ones - there's two posts on there - but this is the final 'just' family for today.

Now there follow a load of photos of similar situations - but I wanted to show you just how wonderful Amy was in the show this morning. She got asked to do two performances not just the one for her class, which really says something.

Look at her face, she was having an absolute ball doing these performances - she LOVED this.

Major proud Dad moments - love you Amy-Boo, what you did today was incredible - you even had Dad with tears in eyes young lady. Truly just wonderful.

I even had the Principal, Teachers and other parents approach me to say the same. You should be so so proud of yourself, believe me Daddy, Mary, Ollie, Glenda and even Baby Jude absolutely were.

Wonderful!

First up Korea.

Look at the face - she is literally loving every minute.
Oozing confidence in front of an audience of 200 or so.

Just beautiful.
So so graceful.

Next up Australia Line-Dancing

Cheeky chats to her mates.

So bloody cute this one - real cute!!!

Again check the face - soaking it all up and loving every minute.

And lastly The Finale

And once again she is loving every single second of performing her little heart out.

I'm not sure but do you think she spotted me in the crowd???

Big finale with ALL the classrooms.
What a finish!!!

Thumbs up indeed gorgeous.
That was absolutely bloody incredible.
You were incredible.

PROUD DAD!!!

I'm only one day old, but I got visitors today, woo hoo...

Off we go to take Ollie to meet his brother for the 1st time before his rehearsals.
Glenda came too to meet Jude and what a lovely time we had.

Now get this - have a look at Jude - he is approximately 12 hours old at this time.
Go figure he looks way older I think.

Anyways here we go on the 'Jude gets cuddled' visit to the hospital.

Glenda up 1st after my good morning hugs, and actually a nappy change too as he kind of 'exploded' when he was in my arms - like riding a bike, or the pits at F1 in 9.8 seconds he was changed and ready for more cuddles.

Big brother's turn now.
Ollie mate you are a natural - look at his little face staring up at his big brother.

Had to be in B&W - just gorgeous Ollie-Boo.

Me and my little mate - mwaaahhhh he's sleeping...

"No I'm not Dad - BOO!!!"

Come on how can you not go all gooey over this photo of the brothers - dear me.
He looks like you Ollie!
I love the way both are looking at the camera - ha ha ha!!!

Group shots now.

I think he started yawning about now, and had that look in his eye of "Dad will you stop pointing that black thing at me that has the really bright light, it's getting boring, I'm hungry and I am sleepy - enough already Dad!!!"

"Oh God he didn't listen, he took another one..."
"Sigh"

You are a cutey Baby Jude - OMG.

Final two on the camera - although these took some doing, because of the lady in pink;
- Oooooh saliva,
- Oooooh did he poo?
- Oooooh he's heavy!
- Ooooooh he smells!
- Ooooooh is he going to be sick?
etc etc.

Final two taken on the old camera phone so Ollie can show his mates at rehearsal a pic of him with his new brother - very impressed Ollie he seriously was SO relaxed with you.

I loved to see this.

"Dad if I really squint my eyes like this, I think I look like a little fat buddha."
 Happy Faces - Happy Faces!!!
NICE!!!

And in the blue corner weighing in at 8lb & 13oz is Baby Jude!!!

Yes folks here he is.

And yes EIGHT POUND AND THIRTEEN OUNZES - OUCH!!!

Mary was incredible - some pretty average anaesthetics, but man that girl soldiered on and 13 hours later pushed out this little man.

Stats;
- In and started at 0930
- Born at 2153
- 8lb & 13oz
- 54cm long
- Birthday 19.11.2013
- Baby Jude is his name

Quite incredible - these are like 2 minutes after being born.
One tiny grizzle from the wee man as they cleared his tubes of all the goo.

Then he sort of calms down and is all eyes open and looking around.
Truly amazing for a 10 minute old - look at him.

"Hello Dad, suppose you're going for a beer in a minute?"
"Dad don't worry I know it is tradition, wetting my head and all that!"
"I like it here, nice and warm under this heat lamp!"
"So when do I get to meet my brother and sister, I can't wait!!!"
"Just let me chill for a bit and have a look about, hello world, my name's Jude!!!"

Look at this little man.
Seriously does not look new born I think.
He really amazed me.
He was looking about, even following sounds.

Just adorable shot.
Mary my love, you sure that was you doing the 13 hours labour - you look AMAZING hun!!!
I love this picture.

Yes yes - I had to have a couple of artsy - SO cute.
Look at these two - OMG.
Kiss Kiss to you both.

Love this snap too.

He is adorable!!!

Just so cute!!!

Mwahhhhh!!!

He looks like a little Spring Roll.
Definitely good enough to eat.

Mary said look he's smiling.
No babe he is 15 minutes old, babies don't smile at that age.

Errrr shit, maybe I am wrong - you make your own mind up.
Kind of looks like he is right...

WOW!!!

Goodness me - kiss kiss kiss...
He He!!!

Babe what can I say.
You amazed me today.
Truly amazed me.
Love you!!!

VERY proud Dad that cannot wait to show this wee man off to the world.

Ollie and Amy here is your brother - he CANNOT wait to meet you.
