OMG

Dear all,

I am truly AMAZED.

My blog just went past 10,000 hits, yes 10,000.

I now sit at 10,015 views of the family blog, and also just as amazing 2,900 (ish) for the food blog.

Couple of updates for you, and for once no photos;

  1. Ollie's film is down-selected to a number of international film festivals - so please if you are in city of origin pop along and show some support please,
  2. Book number 1 for me is in print for Tabitha Foundation fund raising and so far has raised a staggering 20,000 Sing Dollars,
  3. Book number 2, this time a commercial potential, is in production with me and my mate Ged having some fun. Meetings hopefully coming soon with MediaCorp here in Singapore. Hey you never know!!!! Keep everything crossed.
Much love Bri

He did it - amazing! "I said Captain, he said what?"

Yes readers, Ollie did it.

He is Eton House School Captain. Truly amazing.
I hope the video will upload as it is quite chunky.

As you can see it really was a full house - parents, teachers, all the kids.

So he and Isabella are the boy/girl Captains with Hirona and Shogo being Vice Captains.

Get this - three of the 4 are Japanese (well Ollie is half) - PROUD moment for me, Mary and Amy.

Great work Ollie - well done matey!!!!!

And whilst on, some other snaps.

Mary, Ollie and Amy cam to watch me play football on Sunday, but we had rain AGAIN. Seems to rain every day at the moment. So Mary and Amy escaped back to the car to keep safe. Clearly they got bored and started to take pictures - here's a lovely one.

This one is funny - when my hair gets long people say I look like Krusty the Clown from the Simpsons. So here is a mock-up as me as Krusty - this is now my photo for my food blog, ha ha! Thanks Elvis for getting this done for me.

I have purchased a new TV for me and the gang, 3D, SmartTV thing - pretty amazing actually. But of course to watch it you need to adorn the 3D glasses. So here is Madam Kennett, lounging, dressing gown on, ice lollie in hand, legs crossed, iPad at the ready, with said glasses on watching Barbie. Come on come on - 4 going on 24 right! Oh yes!

A quick update to this blog.

Apologies for the quality of the picture, but Ollie forgot to tell us re this so all I had was my Blackberry to take a couple of snaps.

This is the official announcement and handing over of the real Captain and Vice Captain's badges in front of the entire school on United Nation's Day. Well done Ollie, Issey, Shogo and Haruno - wonderful!
