Ollie Strikes Again

Wow is all I can say - the wee man strikes again. This was a covert run mission by all the school kids and teachers alike, so much so that all we knew was the title and that it was a rough adaption of all Wizard of Oz films in to one,. Ollie would be secretly practicing his moves and singing in the toilet (see previous blog), and teachers kept all under wraps, apart from you MUST be there and as Mary, Amy and I arrived we were greeted with "you must sit at the front", "you'll be so proud", "Ollie is amazing" etc.

So to the front we went. Basically he had had two sessions already, one in the morning for the little kids at school, then a matinee on the Thursday then I went to see him on the Friday.

It was just such a BRILLIANT concert - classics like somewhere over the rainbow, but then some Elton John, Abba as well, amazing choreography bearing in mind the kids are tops 11 years old. How they remembered lines and moves is beyond me.

Ollie's of course to me was the best bit - just amazing - so I really hope you enjoy this short clip - we certainly do!

Friends

I was just sitting here and deleting some photos from the camera as they're all stored on the PC now, and I was just looking at the plethora of wonderful photos of friends, so what better to do than to blog some of those - we love you all, thanks for being there in person, remotely and in thought. HAPPY and SAD

So my poor little angle has been sick. Look at the poor little thing laying on the couch, so not herself just laying there groaning. Poor little girl. A week and 5x meds later she is back to her normal self, and the next two photos are her saying "ouch Daddy" as I have a nasty cut on my arm from football recently. SO when she sees is she says "ouch daddy" and pulls this rather cute face. Adorable!

And can't do Blog without mentioning Ollie - this is hysterical.

So he has a 3 night concert called over the rainbow in which he is performing and singing. So he lets slip to me that he practices his lyrics on the toilet. Now that is funny in it's own right, but then I told Miss Atima, remember his teacher, and she sent me back this email; "the ideal place to sing - ease on down the road. Don't you carry nothing that might be a load ........." Ha Ha a classic Atima, an absolute classic!!!!!
