Beautiful Nina. Love you gorgeous always, Bri xxx
She calls our name and we come running, We have lost the voice we listened to, And there's a stillness now the rains stopped falling, And there's a sadness like we never knew, But we still see the shining of things. We love and miss you desperately Ni.

I have to say this one took some doing. Very emotional experience creating this, and I just hope it does the lovely girl justice, because she truly is just so beautiful. These are some of my favourite photos and moments from trips or just fun with friends. She looks amazing as will be the way I and I think all will remember her.

Very courageous of you Brian to make this, how hard it must have been. I am sure some of us who saw this video have been so struck it's taking a while to comment at all. It is so painful, because it's so beautiful. This is as close a visual reprensentation could get to what we all mean by unconditional love, from mother to her children, as well as from wife to husband. You are loved, Ollie and Amy, and though physically Mummy is in a different place from where you are, that love is still going on.
ReplyDeleteOh Brian that is so so beautiful and so brave. We spent so much time with Nina, Brian and Oliver in Melbourne, before the arrival of lovely Amy. Our children grew up with Nina, Brian and Oliver through there early childhood years at Yarraberg child care centre and became great friends. Oliver during your first year of school your mummy was very busy working full time and keeping up with the endless stream of notes, forms coming home, reader cases, library books and all the special dress up days, fund raising events. She always looked so beautiful as she arrived with her high heels on impeccably dressed, smiling and giggling as we did. To see your mummy across a school ground always bought a smile to my face and an instantly thought of her japanese name Naoko I always thought that her name was so perfect. Mummy and Oliver had a very very special bond and Nina had told me a few times about how she would get up very early on some days before school to make sure you had your favourite rice balls that she would make carefully pressing them together to put in your lunch box. We will continue to share many memories of our time with you, Brian and Nina and the excitement of the pending arrival a baby girl. We intend to be around for all of your life, and feel blessed that we can be. I loved your mummies giggle it is a very clear sound in my memory.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Brian, i am in shock and tears as i sit here and take this all in. i cant believe it.
ReplyDeleteI know i did not know nina, ollie or amy, i knew you though and you are such a good man, you spoke so fondly, proudly and highly of your family always.
I will pray for your strength, i have no idea why such a wonderful person like Nina is taken away. I am at a loss for words Brian.
I will see you in a few weeks in singapore. Promise.
My thoughts and prays are with you, ollie and amy.
